The performer is stood with a participant and asks them what their favourite flavour of crisps (also known as chips) is and which is one they cannot stand. He names salt and vinegar as his favourite flavour and cheese and onion as his worst.
Now the performer takes out a bag of cheese an onion flavour crisps but does not show the front of the packet. As this is being done the performer tells the participant, “Here we have a bag of your favourite crisps, salt and vinegar, can you tell me what you like about them and then eat one as you continue to describe the flavours.”
Despite the crisps actually being the participant’s detested flavour, he happily eats the crisp and then even a few more, while sharing his thoughts on the favour.
He is then asked to describe why he hates cheese and onion flavour and as he does so to imagine the crisp in his mouth is that flavour, suddenly the person spits out the crisps and starts to feel sick.
But it’s ok, the performer tells him to wash away the flavour with another yummy salt and vinegar crisp offering him the bag, which upon eating it, instantly takes away the taste despite it being yet another cheese and onion crisp.
PLEASE NOTE: Prop creation is required here, however, it is not a dificult gimmick to make
