I’ve just read issue 1 and really enjoyed it. I love the design and layout, it took me back to my youth reading dusty old copies of The Jinx. Paul gives sound advice on a range of topics important to our art he has a no nonsense writing style that tells you the way it is. His advice is based on experience which for me is THE single requirement of anyone writing about mentalism. He’s also not afraid to share his opinion which you may or make not agree with BUT it will make you THINK and that’s definitely a good thing. My favourite section was “Buried Treasure” which had me scurrying back to a well known text to look up the routine Paul described.
Musings is a little gem very worthy of your time. It’ll take you 10 minutes to read but will have you thinking for hours afterwards.
