ShareLock Intregrated

ShareLock is a technology developed by Paul Brook to protect Shortcuts from being illegally shared. Why should others get for free what you have spent good money on? ShareLock is here to protect your investment, and the data collected by ShareLock also helps with troubleshooting, should you require any.

Forget what you know about Shortcuts. NameForge is the second Shortcut that Paul Brook has released. When you run NameForge, a menu will load, just like an App, making it easy to use and understand. NameForge can also be added to your home screen as an icon. With one tap, you’re ready to perform. It is just like the Apps you are used to using daily.  

When you install NameForge you get the following lists, and can change between them with ease:

•  Names – the output is a list of different name.
•  Adjectives – this will output a list of descriptions.
  
•  Objects – the output here will be man made objects.
  
• Locations – a variety of worldwide locations are outputted. 
•  Shopping List – the output will look like your grocery reminder.

If these lists weren’t enough, there are also three custom list save slots which are fully editable by you, to make sure your performance vision is brought to life.

All of the lists are very easy to edit using the simple to understand menus that are built into the NameForge Shortcut App.

Words and names can be put into the NameForge in various ways to suit your performance needs. Here is the current list of inputs:

• User Input – quickly type text to be forged, great for an assistant in your show, or for testing.
•  Notes – anything typed into the notes can be forged.
•  Clipboard – any app that can copy to clipboard can be captured,  this includes apps such as Momo.
  
• Lumen Pro – the written words are sent from the impression device and get forged, completely hands off.
•  Inject – the word(s) sent to your Inject can be forged.
  
•  Phonewords – the contact or word from Phonewords can be forged. This also works offline, too.
•  The Stranger System – any of the Stranger System inputs can be captured.

More input methods are planned and we will be listening carefully to what buyers need and make highly requested inputs available in future updates.

Once the input has gone through the NameForge, you can then send the forged list to one of a number of outputs. Here is the current list of outputs:

•  Hydra – send to Hydra with added maximum character protection.
•  Glyphs – print the forged list with template protection.
  
•  Notes – forged text is placed into an iOS Note and you can choose the title of the note in the settings.
  
•  Clipboard – whatever app you have that can read the clipboard can have access to the forged list.
  
• Inject – you can send the output to your Inject or any app that accepts Inject as an input.
•  The Stranger System – send the outcome to your Stranger who will seemingly be wrong, until the acrostic is revealed.
•  Chalkboard Photo – the list, written in chalk, is placed onto a photo of a chalkboard that is the only one inside any folder you choose. 
  
• URL Scheme – this advanced feature allows users to send the forged text to an external URL Scheme of their choosing.
•  HeKnows API – the forged list is sent to our highly secure API (nobody but YOU can send to the API, even if they know your details) which can be read by any service that can read/poll API data. If you want you can read the forged and unforged data simultaneously, giving you an unprecedented level of freedom.

All outputs also copy the forged text to clipboard. This provides additional performance, and provides and additional safety-net.

We plan to add more outputs in future updates depending on the needs of our users.

• All of the required files are easily installed using the NameForge installation wizard.
•  NameForge allows the user to edit nearly all elements.
• When the output is too long for your chosen output, you are protected by the NameForge system, and you choose when the protection kicks-in.
• It takes a few moments to load NameForge due to the complex processes involved. You get prompted when NameForge is ready to begin in a selection of signals (user confirmation, vibration, sound, notification banner).
• You get informed when the dirty work is done via secrets signals (sound, vibration, flashes or lock screen) and you can choose to turn any of them on, or off.
• If your native language has accented letters that create problems with third party integrations, you are able to toggle Accent Mode. When you do this, letters will automatically convert to their unaccented counterparts.
• All aspects of NameForge are covered in the easy to understand video tutorials. Over 1h30m of videos split into short accessible videos.
  
• Output protection means that the output words are never the same for repeated letters, so you won’t get duplicates. 
• If at any point you need a little more guidance, you can jump on a video call with our dedicated support partner.
• In the unlikely event that you need some tech support, NameForge users can get in touch with a multi-person tech support team who cannot wait to fix any issues for you.
• To further protect your time and effort you put into your NameForge routines, there is now a feature to Backup your Quick Launch profiles, settings and list and restore them.  

Aside from the standard Top to Bottom acrostic revelation, you can choose one of the new modes:

•  Bottom to Top – When this setting is selected the output words are read from the last word upwards. This hides the acrostic for the very observant participants, but ensures the revelation is still easy to read.
• Random Order – The output words are randomised when you turn on Random order. The random order helps to hide the acrostic for the very observant participants, allowing the performer to control exactly when the kicker happens.
